Static cling 101

New to static cling?

Static cling is a durable, flexible material that holds to whiteboards, glass, windows, and acrylic without any adhesive. Here's what teachers ask most:

Not a sticker

No glue or adhesive. It holds to smooth surfaces on its own.

Removable

Peels off in seconds and leaves no residue behind.

Reusable and durable

Designed and printed in-house by our family business on professional equipment with high-quality inks and materials. Made to reuse year after year.

Customizable

Many designs come in your choice of colors and fonts, and I take custom requests.

In the box

What's included

  • Five day clings, 4.5" each: M, T, W, Th, and F.
  • Style: round or square.
  • Your look: the Modern Terrazzo colors, 34 fonts, and black, white, or coordinating text.

The teacher hack

Why teachers love it

  • Builds a routine. Students know where to look and what to do, so the day runs with fewer reminders.
  • Up in seconds. No printing, cutting, or laminating. Smooth it on and start teaching.
  • Matches your room. Coordinates with your other Reimagines clings.
  • Reusable for years. Take it down, store it flat, and use it again next school year.

In your classroom

How to use it

  • Line them up across the top of your board and write the homework under each day.
  • Pair them with subject clings and dividers for a weekly grid.
  • Post the learning target or focus skill for each day.

Peel, cling, teach

How it works

1

Clean. Start with a clean, dust-free whiteboard.

2

Peel and cling. Peel the cling off its backing and place it on your board. Reposition it anytime.

3

Store. Put it back on its backing paper or Binder Ready sheet until the next unit.

Ordering notes

Choose round or square, a font (34 options), and black, white, or coordinating text.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Will it stick to my whiteboard?

Yes. Static cling holds to whiteboards with no adhesive. For the best hold, make sure your board is clean and dust-free. Dust, dirt, and oil can keep a cling from sticking, and some greasy whiteboard cleaners leave a residue that does the same. If needed, clean your board with a mix of vinegar and water to break down the oil. If a cling loses its grip over time, rinse the back with water and apply it again.

Does it work on non-magnetic boards or glass?

Yes. Reimagines clings were originally designed for non-magnetic whiteboards. My mom didn't have a magnetic whiteboard when I started the business, and her classroom was my inspiration. Clings also hold to glass, windows, and acrylic.

Can I write on it with a dry-erase marker?

Please don't. Markers can remove the printed ink on a cling. Many of our designs are made so you can write underneath or next to them instead.

Will it leave residue on my board?

No. There's no adhesive, so nothing is left behind. Your board is just as clean when you remove the cling as it was when you applied it.

How do I store my clings?

Store the clings on the backing paper they ship on, so they stay smooth and ready to use again.

Can I get a custom design or color match?

Yes. I design and print every product myself. Email elizabeth@reimagines.com with custom design requests or color matching.

How do the clings stay on?

They're static cling, so they hold to your whiteboard without tape, glue, or magnets.
