Static cling 101

New to static cling?

Static cling is a durable, flexible material that holds to whiteboards, glass, windows, and acrylic without any adhesive. Here's what teachers ask most:

Not a sticker

No glue or adhesive. It holds to smooth surfaces on its own.

Removable

Peels off in seconds and leaves no residue behind.

Reusable and durable

Designed and printed in-house by our family business on professional equipment with high-quality inks and materials. Made to reuse year after year.

Customizable

Many designs come in your choice of colors and fonts, and I take custom requests.

In the box

What's included

  • 10 fall clings: a slice of pumpkin pie, a fall drink, two jack-o'-lanterns, an acorn, a football, candy corn, and three leaves.
  • Clings stick to the jar cling itself, so they're easy to add as your class earns them.
  • Optional Binder Ready sheets (+$1) for storing between seasons.

The teacher hack

Why teachers love it

  • Keeps motivation fresh. A new look for your reward jar gives students something new to work toward.
  • Easy to swap. Add the fall clings in September and store them away when the season ends.
  • Works on any whiteboard. Holds to non-magnetic boards, glass, windows, and acrylic.

In your classroom

How to use it

  • Add a fall cling every time your class earns a compliment in the hallway.
  • Set a class goal, then celebrate together when the jar is full.

Peel, cling, teach

How it works

1

Clean. Start with a clean, dust-free whiteboard.

2

Peel and cling. Peel the cling off its backing and place it on your board. Reposition it anytime.

3

Store. Put it back on its backing paper or Binder Ready sheet until the next unit.

Ordering notes

Please note: the incentive jar cling is sold separately. Pair this bundle with Marble Jar Reward System Clings or All Smiles Incentive Jar Clings.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Will it stick to my whiteboard?

Yes. Static cling holds to whiteboards with no adhesive. For the best hold, make sure your board is clean and dust-free. Dust, dirt, and oil can keep a cling from sticking, and some greasy whiteboard cleaners leave a residue that does the same. If needed, clean your board with a mix of vinegar and water to break down the oil. If a cling loses its grip over time, rinse the back with water and apply it again.

Does it work on non-magnetic boards or glass?

Yes. Reimagines clings were originally designed for non-magnetic whiteboards. My mom didn't have a magnetic whiteboard when I started the business, and her classroom was my inspiration. Clings also hold to glass, windows, and acrylic.

Can I write on it with a dry-erase marker?

Please don't. Markers can remove the printed ink on a cling. Many of our designs are made so you can write underneath or next to them instead.

Will it leave residue on my board?

No. There's no adhesive, so nothing is left behind. Your board is just as clean when you remove the cling as it was when you applied it.

How do I store my clings?

Store your clings on the backing paper they ship on. Many products offer a Binder Ready option: your clings ship on 8.5x14" hole-punched backing sheets, ready to store in a legal-size three-ring binder.

Can I get a custom design or color match?

Yes. I design and print every product myself. Email elizabeth@reimagines.com with custom design requests or color matching.
